Congratulations to Rebecca Dale
We are delighted to hear that Rebecca Dale has signed to Decca Classics and Publishing.
The London Oriana Choir chose young British composer Rebecca Dale as the second composer-in-residence for our ground-breaking five15 project to champion the musical talent of women composers. Rebecca’s year kicked off in style in July 2017 with the première of her first work for the choir, the a capella Radiate, at a special concert in the Sammy Ofer Gallery of the Cutty Sark in Greenwich. In November the choir gave the first performance of Nox Perpetua accompanied by the London Mozart Players and solo cello - a stunning setting of words by the Roman poet Catullus. This March the Choir premièred her final commission: a delightful version of the medieval antiphon Salve Regina, in St Paul's Church Covent Garden.
